The VGX Foundation, a Cayman Islands Foundation, has collaborated with Genopets to incorporate the VGX token as a reward in their popular move-to-earn NFT mobile game. This partnership introduces VGX as a reward token in the Genopets game, offering utility and rewards for players within the Genopets ecosystem.

Genopets, a game launched in 2021, has become one of the largest games on Solana with over 200k active players during their private beta. The partnership kicks off with a series of competitions for Genopets players to earn VGX from a $150,000 prize pool by tracking their daily steps and competing on the Energy leaderboard. Both new and existing players can participate in the leaderboard competition.
Moreover, new players downloading Genopets can receive a special reward of rare food and toys for their Genopet by using the referral code “VGX” when signing up as a new user and tracking their first steps during this campaign.
Furthermore, players who earn VGX will have the opportunity to take their VGX to Gala Games and use it to purchase a season pass for Voyager: Ascension, unlocking additional rewards in future games.
